With great solemnity and splendor, the Festive Vespers on the eve of the Feast of Saints Constantine and Helen were celebrated on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the namesake church of the Grand Community of Stavrodromi, which was observing its patronal feast.
The service was officiated by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who was welcomed by the Ecclesiastical Head of the Grand Community of Stavrodromi, His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Saranta Ekklisies, His Grace Bishop Benjamin of Tralleis, and the clergy of Stavrodromi.
Among those in attendance were the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras, the President of SYRKI and of the Community of Stavrodromi, Mr. George Papaliaris, together with members of the Community’s Board of Trustees, as well as visiting educators and students from the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
The hymns of the service were chanted by the Patriarchal Choirs.
